Accomodation: Reasonable price. We rented out a room good for 4 pax. It is airconditioned. The bathroom has a tight shower area, with water heater. I appreciate that bath essentials, including towels, are available. WiFi very slow from our room, probably due to the high volume of people.

Once you're in the resto, signal is good.

Service: Staff was very courteous and hospitable. We arrived way too early for our check in time at 3pm. They allowed us to leave our bags on the shelves found at the lobby area. They also have complimentary drinks (iced tea or mojito) upon check-in. Food and drinks: AMAZING! I like that they have a restaurant, a cafe, and a tiki bar that opens at night! They also have free breakfast if you check-in. They will ask you to choose from a variety of silogs plus a coffee of choice.

Location: Beach front. Amazing sunset. You can easily walk from the resort to other famous eats in La Union such as: Tagpuan, El Union, Coffee Library, Flotsam and more. If you're coming to La Union to experience food and drinks, Fat Wave is a good place to stay.

Nearby activities : Surfing lessons are being offered here. A lot of nearby surf shops around the area too.

Noteworthy details : Love, love, love the interior of Fat Wave. Aesthetic and very bright. Can easily uplift your mood.

We had to leave early for personal reasons, and Fat Wave lost 3 out of 4 nights of our business. Even still, they were incredibly understanding and offered us a full refund for the remaining 3 nights - that’s a lot of lost business.

Despite this, they allowed us to stay in our room beyond checkout time the day of early departure a full three hours which really helped with our situation, and offered transport, free of charge, to where we needed to relocate. Book with Fat Wave and you will be taken care of.

There staff went far and beyond to take care of our tall requests, and thank you so much to the owner, Gloria, for driving a good distance to meet us so that she could take care of our needs personally! Extremely professional service!

Place was good, decent view, VERY GOOD FOOD, and the rooms were OK. We definitely enjoyed our time here and I recommend this place 100% ❤️

Been here before. View is good. Always crowded though. Wait was a bit long. Then the waitress spilled our nachos. Waited longer again before we got them. The desserts are next level though, despite being expensive.
